Vimoutiers Tiger
After the Falaise pocket remains of German units were trying to escape eastward with many vehicles and tanks. Among them was this Tiger – thought to be ran out of fuel it was abandoned and destroyed by its crew. In the photo gallery the cracks in the hull caused by the explosive charges can be seen clearly.

The exact type is a Tiger Ausführung E, turret number 231. Its unit should be the 102nd SS Heavy Panzer Battalion, although some resources state it as being a 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion tank.
